Job Description
You will report directly to the META General Counsel and be based in the UAE on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will support the legal function across the META region by combining legal operations, corporate paralegal support, and administrative coordination to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the legal department. You will play a key role in strengthening corporate governance, entity management, and legal process efficiency while supporting business stakeholders and legal leadership.
Your contributions will enhance operational effectiveness, improve coordination across teams, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Corporate Governance & Paralegal Support
- Support legal entity management across Honeywell's META entities, including maintenance of statutory records, filings, and governance documentation.
- Assist with board and shareholder matters, including preparation of resolutions, powers of attorney, minutes, and corporate documentation.
- Manage corporate licensing processes, renewals, and regulatory submissions to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Maintain and organize corporate records, registers, and documentation in line with local legal requirements.
- Support contract lifecycle processes including document preparation, execution coordination, and recordkeeping.
- Track deadlines, filings, and regulatory obligations and proactively escalate risks.
Legal Operations & Process Management
- Manage and optimize legal department workflows, trackers, and reporting tools.
- Support the implementation, adoption, and maintenance of legal technology platforms, contract management tools, and knowledge repositories.
- Coordinate cross-functional engagement between legal, compliance, finance, and business teams.
Administrative & Departmental Support
- Provide administrative coordination support to the META legal leadership team.
- Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, agendas, and follow-ups for legal leadership.
- Support preparation of presentations, reports, dashboards, and leadership materials.
- Assist with onboarding of external counsel and vendor coordination, including engagement documentation and tracking.
- Support budget tracking, invoice coordination, and documentation related to legal spend.
- Maintain legal department documentation systems, trackers, and shared repositories.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Law (preferable) or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in legal operations, paralegal, or corporate governance support roles.
- Experience supporting corporate entity management and governance activities.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Experience working with legal documentation, records, and workflows.
- Experience in corporate governance, company secretarial, or paralegal roles.
- Familiarity with legal technology tools and contract/document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and stakeholder coordination skills.
