Job Description

  • Responsibilities

1. Contract Review: Conduct comprehensive legal reviews and drafting of various commercial contracts. Support project teams in bidding, tendering, and face-to-face contract negotiations to identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and legal risks. Review business solutions and structural models to ensure alignment with Egyptian laws (e.g., Telecom Law, NTRA regulations, Consumer Protection Law).

2. Dispute Resolution & Claims Management: Manage and resolve all types of corporate disputes, and formulate comprehensive legal strategies and dispute resolution plans to mitigate financial and reputational exposure.

3. Corporate Seal & E-Signature Governance: Oversee and implement the company's internal policies regarding the use of physical corporate seals and ITIDA-certified Electronic Seals (E-Seals) within the designated business units. Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks on seal usage.

4. Signing Authority & Delegation (POA) Management: Maintain, update, and audit the Delegation of Authority (DoA) Matrix and Power of Attorney (POA) registry for all authorized signatories.

5. Regulatory Insights & Business Enabling: Gain insights into Egypt's new legal practices and the potential impacts of newly enacted laws. Deliver legal training and awareness programs to business departments to foster a culture of compliance and proactively drive management improvements.

  • Experience:

1. Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent from a reputable Egyptian university or a recognized international law school.

2. Admission to the Egyptian Bar Association is mandatory.

3. Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification legal experience. Prior experience working in a top-tier Egyptian law firm or a multinational corporation is a strong asset.

4. Proven experience in the Telecommunications, IT, Cloud/Data Center, or Infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.

  • Soft Skills & Languages

1. Core Competencies: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and handle complex, fast-moving projects independently.

2. Language Proficiency:

- English: Fluency (both written and spoken)

- Arabic: Native proficiency

- Chinese: Professional working proficiency is a strong plus and will be highly prioritized.
