Job Description

We are hiring a Legal Specialist to support contract management, governance, and compliance activities in Riyadh.

The Legal Specialist is responsible for supporting legal operations, contract management, and governance activities while ensuring compliance with Saudi laws and regulations. The role involves managing the contract lifecycle, supporting compliance initiatives, and providing legal advisory support to internal stakeholder.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts.
  • Ensure all agreements are legally compliant and aligned with organizational policies and Saudi regulations.
  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle process.

2. Board Governance

  • Act as Board Secretary and support governance activities.
  • Prepare, document, and maintain Minutes of Meetings (MoMs).
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
  • Provide legal advice and risk mitigation strategies to support business objectives.
  • Build strong working relationships across functions.

4. Operational Oversight

  • Manage day-to-day legal operations.
  • Provide advisory support on regulatory compliance, disputes, and policy development.
  • Assist in resolving legal and contractual issues.

5. Governance & Compliance

  • Support implementation and monitoring of governance frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment with Saudi Arabian legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to compliance programs and internal audits.

6. Extended Governance Responsibilities

  • Support the Legal & Compliance Unit in:
  • Risk Management
  • Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
  • Additional responsibilities as required by the business

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law (LLB).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in legal, contracts, or compliance roles.
  • Strong experience in contract lifecycle management and governance support.
  • Exposure to corporate governance, compliance, and due diligence activities.
  • Good understanding of Saudi laws and regulatory environment.
  • Professional certifications such as GRCP / GRCA / ICO are an added advantage.
