About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-minded
Legal Specialist to provide legal support across Octane's day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience in commercial contracts, legal documentation, and corporate matters, with the ability to provide practical legal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business activities are legally sound, contracts are properly managed, and potential legal risks are identified and addressed effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide day-to-day legal support and practical advice to internal stakeholders across different business functions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks.
- Support corporate legal matters, including powers of attorney, resolutions, and other corporate documentation.
- Ensure proper execution, organization, and maintenance of contracts and legal documents.
- Monitor contractual obligations, renewals, amendments, and key deadlines.
- Conduct legal research and provide clear recommendations on applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the company in maintaining compliance with relevant Egyptian laws and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, and internal guidelines.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- 4-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate, commercial, technology, fintech, or similar business environment.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian commercial and corporate laws.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential legal risks.
- Ability to translate complex legal matters into clear and practical business recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in FinTech, payments, technology, or other regulated industries is a plus.
