  • Coordinate and support a wide-ranging day to day library operations and perform duties at the front desk
  • Provide check-in and checkout of library materials using the library online circulation system; send overdue reminders
  • Respond to user inquiries by emails, chat, and telephone
  • Coordinate the acquisition, cataloguing, and organization of library materials.
  • Classify all kinds of the library materials including student dissertations.
  • Maintain library's physical collections. This includes regular shelf reading
  • Provide research and reference services to users. Help users perform literature searches using subscribed databases, printed resources, or the internet.
  • Assist in providing support to students and faculty related to the learning management system (Blackboard). This may include enrollment, course creation, assignment submissions, etc.
  • Coordinate interlibrary document delivery services.
  • Handle user inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively and report to the Manager when necessary
  • Perform weekend duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field.
