Job Description
- Coordinate and support a wide-ranging day to day library operations and perform duties at the front desk
- Provide check-in and checkout of library materials using the library online circulation system; send overdue reminders
- Respond to user inquiries by emails, chat, and telephone
- Coordinate the acquisition, cataloguing, and organization of library materials.
- Classify all kinds of the library materials including student dissertations.
- Maintain library's physical collections. This includes regular shelf reading
- Provide research and reference services to users. Help users perform literature searches using subscribed databases, printed resources, or the internet.
- Assist in providing support to students and faculty related to the learning management system (Blackboard). This may include enrollment, course creation, assignment submissions, etc.
- Coordinate interlibrary document delivery services.
- Handle user inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively and report to the Manager when necessary
- Perform weekend duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field.
