Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1 to support aircraft maintenance operations in Doha. The role involves ensuring aircraft safety, airworthiness, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will perform inspections, troubleshooting, and certify aircraft for release to service while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualification:
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or related field
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, engines, and airframe structures
- Experience in line maintenance and/or base maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and rectify technical defects efficiently
Mandatory Criteria:
- Valid EASA Part-66 B1 License or equivalent (GCAA/QCAA recognized)
- Type rating on Airbus or Boeing aircraft (preferred but highly advantageous)
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft mechanical and structural systems
- Certify aircraft release to service in compliance with aviation regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical defects in a timely manner
- Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance records
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency
