Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Licensed Aircraft Engineer B2 (Avionics) to support avionics maintenance operations. The role involves performing, supervising, and certifying maintenance tasks to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will play a key role in troubleshooting and ensuring timely aircraft release to service.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualification:
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Avionics, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft line and/or base maintenance
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of avionics systems (communication, navigation, flight control systems)
- Hands-on troubleshooting and fault rectification skills
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation and procedures
Mandatory Criteria:
- Valid ICAO / EASA / QCAA Aircraft Maintenance License – B2 (Avionics)
- Ability to certify maintenance tasks within B2 authorization scope
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Type rating on Airbus/Boeing aircraft (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft avionics systems
- Certify maintenance activities as per B2 license privileges
- Ensure compliance with QCAA / EASA regulations and company procedures
- Support defect rectification and ensure timely aircraft release to service
- Supervise and guide technicians and mechanics when required
- Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance records
