Black & Grey HR is hiring a Nurse for a leading Food Manufacturing Company in the UAE.
Our client is a well-established organization in the food production and processing industry, committed to maintaining high standards of employee health, workplace safety, and food safety compliance. The company is seeking a qualified and proactive Occupational Health Nurse to support employee wellbeing and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the manufacturing environment.
- Provide first aid and primary medical care to employees experiencing illness, injuries, or health-related concerns within the workplace.
- Monitor employees health conditions and assist in coordinating medical care or hospitalization when required.
- Maintain and manage the workplace medical facility/clinic, including medical equipment, supplies, and treatment records.
- Conduct and coordinate employee medical examinations, ensuring compliance with occupational health requirements.
- Maintain accurate medical records, incident reports, and health documentation in the internal system.
- Support the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in workplace inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations to identify potential health and safety risks.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the company's emergency response and preparedness plans, including participation in emergency drills.
- Ensure compliance with local occupational health regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in managing medical supply inventory and procurement requests related to health and safety operations.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and personal hygiene requirements within the production environment.
- Report any health, safety, or food safety concerns to the relevant departments to ensure timely corrective actions.
Requirements
- Diploma in General Nursing from a recognized institution with a valid Ministry of Health (MOH) license or eligibility for licensing.
- 23 years of nursing experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or food production environments.
- Arabic: Native proficiency.
- English: Business / professional proficiency.
- Good understanding of local MOH regulations and labor laws related to occupational health.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multicultural teams.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with HSE teams, and adapt to flexible working hours.
