Role Description The Licensed Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. The pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for appropriateness, and provide clear counseling on proper use, side effects, and interactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, managing inventory and storage conditions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, handling insurance and reimbursement queries, and supporting pharmacy team members to deliver efficient, patient-focused service. The pharmacist is expected to uphold high ethical standards, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and foster a welcoming environment for all customers.

Qualifications

• Relevant education and licensing: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent), with a valid pharmacist license in Egypt.
• Clinical and technical expertise: Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription review.
• Regulatory and safety awareness: Familiarity with local pharmacy regulations, controlled substances handling, and safety protocols.
• Communication and customer service: Ability to explain medication use clearly, respond to patient questions, and provide empathetic, respectful support.
• Operational and organizational skills: Experience with pharmacy information systems, inventory management, and accurate documentation.
• Teamwork and professionalism: Capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrate reliability, and maintain confidentiality.
• Language and digital skills: Proficiency in Arabic; working knowledge of English and basic computer skills are beneficial.
• Experience: Prior experience in community or retail pharmacy is preferred, especially in high-volume environments.
