Lifeguard - DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island

A Lifeguard is responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring swimmers are adhering to pool rules and regulations. This role requires vigilance, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment. In addition to safety supervision, the Lifeguard is also responsible for fulfilling regular cleaning and maintenance duties to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and facility presentation.

What will I be doing

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of swimmers at all times, remaining alert to potential hazards and unsafe behavior
• Ensure guests feel safe, comfortable, and supported in the beach/pool area
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness, complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular points throughout the shift
• Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practices enforce and adhere to rules and regulations
• Communicate rules clearly and address any non-compliance appropriately
• Provide assistance and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Follow emergency action plans and procedures when required, responding quickly and effectively to incidents
• Coordinate with team members and report any safety or maintenance concerns promptly

• First aid and CPR certification

• Excellent attention to detail

• Previous experience in a similar environment
