Fitness Champs is looking for reliable, vigilant, and professional Lifeguards to join our growing team across our community and school locations in Dubai.
This is an exciting opportunity for qualified lifeguards who are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of safety while supporting our Learn to Swim programmes, holiday camps, and aquatic activities.
Working alongside our coaching team, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all swimmers and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain constant supervision of the pool and surrounding areas.
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers, visitors, and staff.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies in accordance with emergency action plans.
- Carry out pool rescues and administer first aid when required.
- Conduct regular poolside safety checks and report any hazards immediately.
- Ensure all pool rules and safety procedures are followed.
- Support swimming lessons, holiday camps, and special events where required.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining equipment.
- Complete daily safety and operational checklists.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional pool environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to parents, swimmers, schools, and community members.
Requirements:
- Recognised Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ, UAE Lifeguard Licence, or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of pool safety and emergency procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
Desirable:
- Experience working within schools, sports clubs, or commercial swim academies.
- Experience supporting Learn to Swim programmes and holiday camps.
- Knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations.
