We are currently seeking a vigilant, professional, and guest-focused Lifeguard to join our team and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests using our beach and pool facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor beach, swimming pool, and recreational water areas to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Respond promptly and effectively to aquatic emergencies, providing rescue assistance and first aid when required.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations in accordance with resort policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of rescue equipment, first aid kits, and safety signage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool and beach environment.
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions and assisting guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Report accidents, incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns to management.
- Participate in emergency drills, training programs, and safety briefings.
Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized institution.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, waterpark, or beach setting.
- Strong swimming and rescue skills.
- Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively during emergencies.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of water safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
- Customer-service-focused attitude with a passion for hospitality.
