Position: Lifting Supervisor

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Salary : 3500 AED
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all lifting activities on site, including reviewing lift plans and conducting site inspections
- Manage a team of crane operators, riggers, and other lifting personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution of all lifting tasks
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety among the lifting team
- Monitor and maintain lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of all lifting operations, including lift plans, risk assessments, and incident reports
- Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on lifting operations and address any concerns or issues
- Train and mentor new lifting personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and implement new processes or procedures to enhance the efficiency and safety of lifting operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and techniques
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid lifting supervisor certification
- Fluent in English, Arabic language skills are a plus.
