Lifting Engineer to join our team in
Doha, Qatar. This is a

The Lifting Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient planning, execution, and supervision of all lifting operations. This role requires a strong understanding of lifting equipment, relevant regulations, and best practices within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review lift plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for all lifting operations.
- Supervise lifting activities on site, ensuring adherence to approved lift plans and procedures.
- Inspect and certify lifting equipment, ensuring it is maintained in optimal working condition.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on lifting operations.
- Investigate lifting incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities and equipment inspections.
- Collaborate with other engineers and project personnel to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Lifting Engineer, with a strong track record in planning and executing complex lifting operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, and rigging gear.
- Thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for lift planning and analysis.
