Select the appropriate crane and accessories for each lifting task
Prepare the lift plan and implement necessary safety and operational controls
Ensure lifting equipment is regularly maintained, examined, and safe for use
Confirm that all personnel involved are competent, aware of their tasks, and follow the required procedures.
Ensure all necessary test certificates and documents are available
Ensure all statutory requirements and work permits are in place before lifting operations
Identify potential hazards and restricted areas during the lifting process
Establish emergency procedures in the event of crane damage or impairment and facilitate safe recovery
Ensure the person directing crane movements (Signaler/Banksman) is easily identifiable to the crane operator by wearing high-visibility clothing or markings
Brief all personnel involved or affected by the lift to ensure clarity and understanding
Monitor the lift execution and suspend the operation if any deviations (e.g., weather changes) occur that affect safety
Monitor the performance of all personnel to ensure high standards are maintained
Manage special issues such as language barriers or the presence of inexperienced staff
Check that routine lifts adhere to established standards and procedures without deviation
Close-out all Inspection Work Orders following the completion of Third-Party Inspection by uploading Final Certificate after the review/ approval
Ensure the close-out of all recommendations raised by Third Party Lifting Surveyor before the due date of next inspection or as per the given duration in the Certificate
Ensure the Lifting Equipment under Load Test/ Proof Load Test is ready for the test by delegating a competent Appointed Person to check the lifting equipment as per the approved Action Plan/ Method Statement or perform the checking by himself in addition to the availability of valid certificates for the Lifting Appliances / Accessories to be utilized for the Load Test / Proof Load Test
Be overall accountable for the implementation of LIMS AD NOC Standard at Site
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
Experience in ADNOC projects or with an ADNOC-approved third-party inspection company is mandatory. Candidates must have relevant ADNOC offshore and onshore lifting experience of not less than seven (7) years, including a minimum of five (5) years in a similar position.
