China State Construction Middle East (CSECE ME) is recruiting a Lifting Engineer to join in a newly awarded Large Scale High Rise Tower project in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute complex lifting operations for high-rise construction, including preparation of detailed lifting plans, method statements, and basic engineering calculations (e.g., load weight, center of gravity, crane capacity, and lifting radius).
- Provide technical oversight and on-site supervision to ensure all lifting activities are performed in accordance with approved lift plans and safe work procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and HSE personnel to integrate lifting operations with overall project schedules and site safety requirements.
- Evaluate site conditions such as ground bearing capacity, access, and crane positioning to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, statutory regulations, and industry best practices related to lifting, rigging, and crane operations.
- Monitor ongoing lifting activities, identify and rectify unsafe conditions, and promote a strong safety culture through effective communication and toolbox talks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering
- 5+ years in lifting/hoisting operations, with 3+ years of local site experience preferred
- Valid EIAC or LEEA lifting certification
