Job Summary
As a Facilities Operations and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, monitoring, and technical support of critical facility systems including HVAC, Elevators, Fire Alarm Systems, and UPS systems across Telecom Egypt facilities. The role includes front-office and back-office activities, vendor management, incident handling, preventive maintenance follow-up, and coordination with regional maintenance teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor HVAC, Elevator, Fire Alarm, and UPS systems to ensure service availability and operational continuity.
- Follow up preventive and corrective maintenance activities across assigned facilities.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and SLAs.
- Investigate system alarms, incidents, and operational failures and identify root causes.
- Support emergency response activities related to critical facility systems.
- Review maintenance reports, inspection findings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and Telecom Egypt policies.
- Prepare operational dashboards, technical reports, escalation records, and performance analysis.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and acceptance of new systems and upgrades.
- Support asset lifecycle management activities including replacement, refurbishment, and condition assessment.
- Coordinate with regional engineers, technicians, procurement teams, and facility stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, MEP systems, or building services.
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems, Fire Alarm Systems, UPS systems, and Elevators.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Knowledge of facility operation standards and safety requirements.
- Ability to work in front-office and back-office operational environments.
- Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
