Light Driver
Job Summary
The Light Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers, goods, or documents using a light vehicle while following traffic laws and company policies. The role requires punctuality, responsibility, and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive light vehicles to transport staff, clients, or materials safely
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery as per schedule
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition
- Perform basic vehicle checks (oil, water, tires, brakes)
- Report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues immediately
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery records
- Assist with loading and unloading items when required
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid light vehicle driving license
- Proven experience as a light driver preferred
- Good knowledge of local roads and traffic rules
- Ability to read maps and use GPS/navigation apps
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours if needed
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Honest, reliable, and professional attitude
