Lighting Design Architect

The ideal candidate will design and deliver lighting solutions for commercial, hospitality, and large scale architectural projects. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients from concept design to project handover.

Key responsibilities

Design lighting for indoor spaces such as offices, hotels, and retail environments.

Design outdoor lighting for facades, landscapes, streets, and parking areas.

Develop lighting concepts for large projects such as commercial buildings, hotels, or public facilities.

Prepare GSAS compliant lighting designs and sustainability documentation.

Propose value engineering options and alternative lighting solutions.

Prepare lighting presentations with renderings, visualizations, and concept boards.

Conduct lighting simulations using Dialux EVO.

Produce lighting layouts using AutoCAD.

Create visual presentations using Photoshop or Vray.

Ensure compliance with lighting standards such as IES, CIBSE, and local regulations.

Support installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Conduct on site mock ups, aiming, and lighting adjustments.

Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

Lead lighting design coordination across multiple projects.

Requirements

Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

Experience in architectural lighting design for indoor and outdoor environments.

Strong knowledge of Dialux EVO, AutoCAD, Photoshop or Vray.

Understanding of lighting standards, energy efficiency, and sustainable design.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Experience working with consultants and contractors on site.
