LIGHTING DESIGN ENGINEER

They are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lighting Design Engineer to support the technical development and execution of lighting projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, hospitality, landscape. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing lighting projects, developing suitable technical solutions, selecting products, preparing quotations and pricing, and coordinating the process from project requirements through production and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
• Professional experience in the lighting industry, particularly in project management, technical sales, product development, manufacturing, or related areas,
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting products and manufacturing processes,
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans,
• Ability to analyze lighting projects and determine suitable products and technical solutions,
• Experience in preparing technical quotations and pricing,
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and experience in production follow-up,
• Knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations within the lighting industry,
• Strong project coordination and communication skills,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to take ownership of responsibilities,
• Good command of English.

Job Description

• Reviewing interior and exterior lighting projects from a technical perspective and analyzing project requirements,
• Reviewing technical drawings and project details in AutoCAD to determine suitable lighting solutions,
• Selecting and technically evaluating lighting products based on project requirements,
• Developing suitable product and technical solutions based on lighting product specifications and manufacturing processes,
• Preparing technical quotations and pricing for projects,
• Following projects from the quotation stage through production and delivery,
• Coordinating with production teams to ensure that selected products are manufactured in line with project requirements,
• Ensuring that lighting projects comply with relevant technical standards and regulations,
• Coordinating with project, production, sales, and other relevant teams throughout the process,
• Contributing to the effective execution and continuous improvement of technical and operational processes.
