Key Responsibilities
- Develop lighting designs and concepts for interior, exterior, and facade lighting projects, in line with project requirements and international standards.
- Prepare detailed lighting specifications, submittals, and technical documentation for projects.
- Review architectural drawings, project specifications, BOQs, and layouts to ensure design compliance.
- Select appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and accessories based on performance, aesthetics, and budget.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for product selection, technical data, samples, and mock-ups.
- Support sales and project teams with technical presentations, design proposals, and value engineering solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and standards in architectural and facade lighting.
- Assist during project execution by addressing design clarifications and site-related technical queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in lighting design and/or lighting specification (experience in faade lighting is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of architectural and facade lighting concepts, lighting calculations, and relevant standards.
- Familiarity with lighting products, drivers, controls, and mounting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of lighting design software (Dialux / Relux) is preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work closely with architects, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
