Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to our menu and maintaining a clean, organized and safe workspace. You will play a key role in delivering a consistent and excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
- Follow proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality
- Assist with inventory control and notify management of shortages
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order completion
- Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with good communication skills
