Main job responsibilities:
Promote shipping line services and constantly approach new customers.
Receive customer inquiries about SL services and respond to them promptly with accurate information.
Receive the customer shipping declaration or assist if needed to fill it.
Advise customer on the most cost-effective logistics solution for their inquiry and offer them the most competitive rates.
Performe marketing intelligence studies and decide client leads, competing services, and competitors rates
Prepare periodical reports that summarize the sales activities and performance achieved.
Competencies / Skills:
Prior work experience in sales or customer service (preferred in freight forwarding, shipping line
Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
Positive attitude, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business administration or supply chain logistics
2-3 years of experience in sales or customer service.
Proficiency in both written and oral English and Arabic.
Proficient in computer skills, especially concerning CRM software and tools.
