Description
Position: Live-in Medical Doctor (Home Care – Neurological Patient)
Location: Kuwait (Private Residence)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Live-in
### Role Summary
We are seeking a female medical doctor to provide full-time medical supervision and care coordination for a post-stroke patient with complex neurological and cardiovascular conditions.
### Key Responsibilities
Clinical Monitoring
- Daily assessment of vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels)
- Monitor neurological status and overall condition
- Identify early signs of complications
Medication Management
- Administer and supervise all prescribed medications
- Ensure strict adherence to medical protocols
- Monitor and report side effects
Medical Coordination
- Coordinate with hospitals and specialist doctors
- Schedule appointments and follow-ups
- Prepare medical reports and maintain organized patient records
Emergency Response
- Respond immediately to emergencies (stroke symptoms, seizures, breathing issues)
- Stabilize patient and arrange hospital transfer when required
- Accompany patient to hospital when needed
Care Supervision
- Supervise nursing staff
- Ensure proper feeding, positioning, and hygiene care
- Prevent complications such as pressure sores or aspiration
Equipment Management
- Oversee use of medical equipment (oxygen, suction, monitoring devices)
- Ensure all equipment is functional and properly used
### Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience
- Experience in Internal Medicine, Neurology, or Geriatrics
- Experience with stroke or high-dependency patients
- Female preferred
- English required (Arabic is a plus)
### Preferred Skills
- ICU or emergency care experience
- Rehabilitation knowledge
- Home-care experience
### Working Conditions
