Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lobby Ambassador at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, located in Abu Dhabi. The Lobby Ambassador will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere in the lobby. Responsibilities include assisting guests with inquiries, anticipating their needs, providing directions, and offering personalized recommendations. The role also entails supporting the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding the Shangri-La service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs
• Ability to remain professional, approachable, and composed in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Prior experience in guest services or customer-facing roles is preferred
• Proficiency in standard office software and familiarity with hotel management systems
• A friendly, proactive attitude and the ability to handle diverse guest interactions with cultural sensitivity
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality management or a related field is a plus
