Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select local suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, andreliability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and favorable terms.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with local suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Work closely with internal departments, such as production, engineering, and finance to understand their procurement requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for management as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of local market conditions.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain principles.
  • Proficiency in English at a reasonable level.
