Job Location: 10th of Ramadan
Job Description:
- Receive and review production plans from the Production Planning department.
- Identify required car parts and components based on the production schedule.
- Negotiate prices, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Create, review, and finalize purchase orders (POs) in alignment with production plans.
- Ensure POs are issued to suppliers in a timely manner and are accurately recorded in the system.
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and maintain regular communication to address any delays or issues.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure that all deliveries are made as per the agreed terms.
- Ensure that purchased parts meet the required quality standards and comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing processes.
- Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize lead times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Engineering degree.
- 3+ years in procurement, preferably in automotive parts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
