Job Title: Logistics Lead – Railway Project
We are currently looking for an organized and proactive Logistics Lead to join our team for a major Railway Infrastructure Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation, receipt, storage, and distribution of project materials and equipment
- Ensure timely delivery of construction materials, machinery, and tools to site as per project schedules
- Maintain inventory records, stock levels, and material movement logs
- Liaise with suppliers, transport vendors, site teams, and warehouse personnel for smooth logistics operations
- Prepare delivery schedules and coordinate site access for incoming materials and heavy equipment
- Monitor loading, unloading, and safe storage practices in compliance with HSE requirements
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery delays, shortages, or damaged goods
- Coordinate logistics support for railway-specific materials such as track components, signaling equipment, electrical items, and station fit-out materials
- Maintain all logistics documentation including delivery notes, gate passes, and inventory reports
- Support project teams in planning material requirements and site mobilization activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in railway, infrastructure, or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, transportation coordination, and warehouse management
- Experience handling large-scale project materials and site logistics operations
Preferred:
- Experience in railway / metro / infrastructure projects
- GCC / Middle East project experience is an advantage
- Immediate joiners preferred
