Seddiqi Holding is looking for a Logistic Operative who will be part of our Logistics and Warehousing team and provide an accurate and prompt receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertakes receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with the Standard Operating Procedures and ensures that goods are correctly labeled, bar coded and located within the warehouse.
- Ensures that all in-bound and out-bound delivery information is accurately keyed into the company systems.
- Completes necessary documentation upon receipt or delivery of goods in an accurate and prompt manner and update the system accordingly.
- Checks and inspects goods received and ensure they are of accurate quantity, reference, and quality. Promptly report damages, discrepancies, or any unresolved issues to the Line Manager.
- Ensures the safe and efficient handling, loading, delivery and collection of goods.
- Carries out stock and inventory control and ensures proper maintenance of records of deliveries / collections and transfers.
- Ensures the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always follows company standards.
About you:
- High School or equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication in English
