Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Executive to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Logistics, Shipping, or Freight Forwarding and possess hands-on experience in managing end-to-end international shipments, documentation, and freight calculations.
This is an immediate hiring position for someone who is proactive, organized, and deeply knowledgeable in logistics and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end shipment operations, including:
- Pickup coordination
- Freight booking
- Customs clearance
- Transportation arrangements
- Prepare and manage all shipping documentation, such as:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Certificates of Origin
- AWB/BL, etc.
- Request and compare freight quotes (air, sea, land) from various forwarders.
- Accurately calculate freight charges based on weight, volume, and route.
- Track and monitor shipments and maintain clear communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
- Handle customs clearance procedures, documentation, and coordination with clearing agents.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and incoterms.
- Maintain shipment logs, cost reports, and ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Shipping terms & Incoterms
- Freight calculation methods
- Customs documentation & clearance
- End-to-end logistics workflows
- Familiarity with GCC logistics operations is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic logistics software.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Must be organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple shipments concurrently.
