Job Title : Logistics Assistant Manager

Reports To : Logistics Manager
Role Purpose:
To support the Logistics Manager in managing international logistics operations, ensuring timely shipments, cost control, compliance, and coordination with warehouse, sales, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing international shipments (imports & exports).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transporters.
- Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and documentation accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with customs, DG regulations, and trade documentation.
- Control logistics costs and support landed cost calculations.
- Coordinate with warehouse for inbound and outbound shipment readiness.
- Track delays, damages, and claims with suppliers or logistics partners.
- Prepare weekly and monthly logistics reports (shipment status, cost, delays).
- Support ERP updates related to shipments, delivery notes, and logistics workflows.
- Escalate risks and operational issues to management proactively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
- 35 years experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures.
- ERP experience (Odoo or similar preferred).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- UAE experience preferred.
