Job Description
Role Objectives:
The Logistics Coordinator – Shops is responsible for managing daily delivery operations, including assigning orders to Delivery Associates (DAs), monitoring delivery performance, resolving on-ground operational challenges, and ensuring smooth and timely order fulfillment. This role plays a key part in maintaining high delivery accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
- Coordinate and oversee daily delivery operations.
- Assign orders to DAs efficiently based on capacity and route optimization.
- Ensure all orders are dispatched on time and in alignment with company standards.
- Receive and verify cash collected by Delivery Associates, ensure proper handover and recording, and escalate any discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor delivery progress throughout the day and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Take immediate corrective actions to resolve any operational issues that could impact delivery performance.
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly performance reports (e.g., on-time delivery, successful orders, delays).
Communication & Problem Solving:
- Act as the main point of contact for DAs to support in resolving on-ground issues (e.g., customer location difficulties, failed deliveries).
- Collaborate with the Commercial, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams to address escalations or special delivery requirements.
Attendance & Documentation:
- Track and record attendance, absences, and leaves for delivery staff accurately.
- Receive and verify delivery documents (Proof of Delivery – PODs) from DAs and ensure proper documentation and submission.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or last-mile coordination (preferably in FMCG or e-commerce).
- Understanding of delivery operations and logistics workflows.
- Familiarity with route planning, dispatching systems, and performance tracking tools.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to respond quickly to on-ground challenges.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.
- Team player with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
