We are looking for a Logistics Engineer to join our team and support project logistics operations. The role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing logistics activities to ensure the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and resources to project sites while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations for construction projects.
- Manage transportation, delivery schedules, and material handling to ensure timely supply to project sites.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring compliance with project timelines.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams to streamline material flow.
- Develop logistics plans aligned with project requirements and schedules.
- Optimize transportation routes and logistics processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company logistics procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material distribution to avoid delays.
- Prepare logistics reports, documentation, and progress updates for project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- +5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably within construction or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of logistics planning, transportation management, and material handling.
- Experience coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and project teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
