Key Responsibilities (Role Overview)
- Preparation of Shipping Invoices, Packing Lists and Export Documentation for outbound shipments
- Maintain shipment reports and update stakeholders on ETAs, licenses, duties, and compliance
- Verify Bills of Lading and supplier documentation
- Ensure adherence to international shipping and logistics regulations
- Prepare management reports such as shipment, turnover, and gross profitability reports
- Timely closure of daily, weekly, and monthly logistics tasks
- Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for smooth execution
- Handle Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and submit to banks
- Negotiate freight rates with forwarders and shipping lines
- Manage sailing schedules, exports, and complete documentation end-to-end
- Handle shipping and warehouse insurance, and follow up on claims
- Track, manage, and store all company contracts and agreements
- Manage supplier payables, including advances and outstanding payments
- Reconcile supplier statements with the accounts team
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems
