Job Description

Your Role – What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for preparing documentation for Permanent Import/Export, Temporary Import/Export of Repair & Return and rental tools shipments for all transport modes (Air, Ocean and Road) via all KSA border points.
  • Communicate and guide suppliers/shippers (local & international) of the required KSA Customs & SABER documentation along with shipping documents and to ensure smooth customs clearance. This also includes specific documentation that may be required for SASO approval.
  • Coordinate with SABER service provider for CoC/exemptions/etc.
  • Proactively coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce for document attestation.
  • Ensure fulfilment of Saudi customs requirements and coordinate with customs HUB team for SIECUS ID and resolve any customs clearance related issues.
  • Liaise with the relevant entities regarding SABER CoC, Logistics services, Customs clearance coordination and delivery execution.
  • Manage logistics coordination commercially and operationally with related interfaces such as accounts reconciliation, service departments, shipping/receiving warehouse, customs clearing agent and freight forwarders.
  • Work closely with PM, Warehouse & Parts OM teams for smooth preparation of Repair & Return shipments proactively considering the tight timelines.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices with the respective service departments and accounts team for invoice settlement.
  • Responsible for the development of his/her subordinates and their training to ensure maximum performance and sharing of knowledge.
  • Strictly comply with Siemens Energy Compliance, Quality & EHS requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply chain or Business; experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.
  • 5+ years logistics experience in a service environment.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Logistics & SABER documentation process for Import/Export and Temporary Import/Export (Repair & Return and Rental Tools) for all transport modes.
  • Expert knowledge of logistics market to be able to predict / evaluate potential risks and mitigate. Critical problem-solving experience and demonstration is a plus.
  • Must be willing to work with a degree of flexibility to cater coordination requirements during late hours & weekends occasionally as business requires.
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills; flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Displays an attitude conducive to progress through positive change, continuous improvement, and active contributor to the teamwork concept.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate computer skills.
