We are looking to hire a dynamic Logistics Manager for our UAE office, who brings proven experience in managing end-to-end logistics operations, including import/export documentation, freight forwarding, warehouse & inventory coordination, and supply chain optimization.
Job Description:
- Oversee and manage global logistics operations, ensuring smooth and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Optimize transportation and freight management, including sea, air, and land shipments.
- Lead the logistics team, ensuring high levels of performance, efficiency, and accountability.
- Establish and maintain relationships with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners.
- Manage import and export operations, ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations.
- Oversee warehousing and inventory movement, ensuring proper storage, tracking, and distribution.
- Develop and implement logistics automation tools and ERP optimizations to enhance tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Implement risk management strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions and avoid demurrage costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring efficiency in transportation, warehousing, and inventory handling.
