Role Overview
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistics operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, equipment, and services across civil, infrastructure, and luxury residential projects. This role requires a strategic leader with strong organizational skills who can optimize supply chain processes, maintain compliance with UAE regulations, and support project execution with efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with project schedules and business objectives.
- Ensure efficient supply chain management across procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
- Optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules to minimize costs and delays.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including customs clearance, inventory control, and fleet management.
- Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination.
- Monitor logistics performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs, transport, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Establish KPIs to measure logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor logistics teams across multiple project sites.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and career development opportunities for logistics professionals.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record in logistics management within contracting, construction, or infrastructure organizations.
- Strong knowledge of UAE customs, transport regulations, and supply chain practices.
- Excellent organizational, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with financial discipline and transparency.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; professional certifications preferred.
