Logistics Officer

Job Purpose:
Support daily transportation operations and Control Tower activities by monitoring shipments, coordinating with drivers and transporters, tracking delivery performance, and ensuring timely movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor daily transportation and delivery operations through the Control Tower.
* Track trucks, shipments, and delivery status.
* Coordinate with drivers, transporters, customers, and internal teams.
* Follow up on delayed shipments and resolve operational issues.
* Update shipment status and transportation records in the system.
* Monitor vehicle movement, loading, unloading, and delivery schedules.
* Prepare daily transportation and delivery reports.
* Report delays, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other operational issues.
* Support route planning and truck allocation when required.
* Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) and transportation documents are collected and properly maintained.
* Monitor transporter and driver performance against agreed KPIs.
* Support the team in improving on-time delivery and transportation efficiency.
* Follow company safety and transportation procedures.

Requirements

* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or Control Tower operations preferred.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
* Good Microsoft Excel skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Willingness to work shifts if required.
