Manpower Middle East is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Logistics Officer to be based in Dubai. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day logistics and transportation activities
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and reports
- Track inventory levels and support warehouse coordination when required
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Analyze logistics performance and suggest improvements for cost and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
