Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement logistics strategies, lead and train the team, drive continuous improvement, and align logistics with overall business objectives.
- Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end logistics, including inbound/outbound shipments, warehousing, and distribution.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, optimize inventory turns, and minimize waste.
- Transportation: Select carriers, negotiate rates, plan routes, and manage international/local shipments.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, sales, finance, and production teams.
- Performance & Compliance: Track metrics, analyze data, meet targets, and ensure adherence to regulations and quality standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and supply chain management principles.
- Experience in transportation management, inventory control, and customs clearance (especially for high-value goods).
