Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Location: Abu Dhabi, Musaffah

Role Summary:-

We are seeking a dedicated and self-driven Import Logistics executive to join our team.

The role requires the candidate to have experience in similar field and have quick thinking in critical situations and must have problem solving capabilities. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail oriented and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:-

Handling all Import Shipments and related tasks

Prepare required documentation for customs clearance

Timely coordination with the clearing agents regarding vessel arrival and ensuring shipments are customs cleared without any storage / demurrage / detention charges

Ensure all imported SKU's are in compliance Liase with customers regarding cargo collection, monitoring of shipment until received at destination location.

Communicate with Trade compliance on the required Import Hts Codes

Maintain all essential and accurate records / data of Import transactions

Notify warehouse on all deliveries in advance

Timely updates and replies to emails

Applying for permits thru online portals (Abu Dhabi / Dubai customs)

Close work and interaction with Internal and external stake holders

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

• Years of experience: 3 to 5 years
• Field of experience: No
• Technical Skills: customs laws / local regulations/ import export rules
• Soft Skills: Communication and leadership
• Tools or Software (Required / Preferred): Microsoft Excel
• Education Qualifications: Supply Chain / Logistics
• Industry Background or Experience (Required / Preferred): Oil & Gaz
• Target Companies: logistics companies
• Off-limits Companies: No
• Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including Driving License: No
