Logistics Supervisor (Chinese Speaker)

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Trade Management: Lead the full lifecycle of import/export operations for heavy engineering equipment and spare parts. Oversee documentation (LCs, COO, Invoices), customs declarations, and real-time logistics tracking to ensure 100% on-time customs clearance.

Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for UAE Federal Customs, Dubai Customs/Muni, and the Chamber of Commerce. Ensure all operations strictly adhere to GCC Customs Union regulations and local trade laws.

Logistics Optimization: Manage and evaluate 3PL providers, Logistics providers and freight forwarders. Implement cost-saving transportation strategies while mitigating compliance risks and transit imports/export delays.

Policy & Compliance Intelligence: Proactively monitor shifts in regional policies—including VAT, Selective Tax, Tariff adjustments, and FTA updates. Develop actionable response plans and lead internal training to ensure organizational readiness.

Audit & Reporting: Maintain a rigorous digital filing system for all trade records. Lead data analytics for logistics spend and coordinate with internal/external auditors for periodic business reviews.

Qualifications

1. Majored in relevant fields such as international trade, logistics management, etc., with over 5 years of practical experience in import and export operations, among which over 3 years of experience in the Middle East/UAE is preferred.

2. Proficient in UAE import and export regulations, customs declaration procedures, and HS code classification, familiar with the Single Window 3 system and ERP operations.

4. Fluent in English & Chinese. Arabic is an added advantage

5. Experience in import and export operations of engineering equipment and large machinery, and those with relevant customs declaration qualifications are preferred.

6. Possess strong problem-solving and XFN coordination abilities, and be able to withstand the work pressure of multitasking.

7. Proficient in using Office work software.
