As an M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Technical Coordination & Clash Detection: Review shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and material submissions. Perform cross-disciplinary clash analysis against Architectural and C&S drawings to resolve discrepancies prior to site execution.
Site Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee daily installation works alongside subcontractors and site supervisors. Conduct inspections to verify workmanship quality, address site technical queries, and ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, QA/QC standards, and client specifications.
Regulatory Compliance & Authority Liaison: Liaise with consultants, authorities, and testing agencies to secure technical approvals in full alignment with local regulatory codes (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, and LTA).
Schedule & Resource Tracking: Assist in establishing installation schedules, manpower plans, and procurement schedules for long-lead equipment to support master construction timelines.
Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Prepare T&C procedures, supervise on-site equipment testing and handovers, and compile comprehensive testing reports, OMMs, and as-built documentation.
Cost & Site Administration: Support the verification of subcontractor progress claims, variation orders (VOs), material take-offs, and monthly progress reporting.
Safety & Leadership: Enforce project safety frameworks (RA, SWP, and PTW) in tandem with the WSH team, while mentoring junior engineers and site coordinators
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (recognized by PEB is an advantage).
