About the role
Own the end-to-end design, costing, and delivery of connectivity and smart solutions for gated communities and business parks across Egypt. You'll sit at the crossroads of presales, engineering, and business development — shaping deals from the first survey all the way through to post-delivery assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design for gated compounds and business parks — covering Triple-Play (Voice, Data, IPTV, GSM), GPON/P2P fiber, and smart city verticals (physical security, smart lighting, home automation, traffic, waste management, irrigation).
- Own the full technical lifecycle: survey, low-level design, BOQ, business case costing, vendor POs, and post-deal margin assessment.
- Drive technical feasibility studies and solution design for new B2B products alongside enterprise marketing and presales teams.
- Lead integration between developer infrastructure and e& Egypt's IPTV, ICT, and connectivity systems.
- Manage the partner and vendor ecosystem to expand e&s gated communities portfolio.
- Define and enforce SLAs, escalation matrices, and delivery standards across internal and external stakeholders.
- Review contracts for technical scope accuracy — including scope of work, delivery timelines, and technical annexes.
- Secure budgets and trigger POs covering civil/passive infrastructure (fiber, ODFs, splitters, manholes), active hardware (OLTs, routers, switches), and O&M subcontracts.
- Support EBU units in achieving revenue targets by ensuring e& delivers state-of-the-art solutions that grow market share.
Internally, you'll collaborate closely with enterprise sales, commercial presales, pricing & bidding, finance, wireless and fixed transmission planning, IPBB operations, procurement, and legal teams. Externally, you'll interface with gated community developers, system integrators, enterprise customers, NTRA, and Telecom Egypt.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in telecom, system integration, or smart city solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of GPON, IP networking, transmission solutions, cloud/data center, and unified communications.
- Solid experience with smart city and Triple-Play deployments inside gated communities or business parks.
- Comfortable owning business cases, costing models, and BOQs independently.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills across complex, multi-party projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, and advanced Excel.
