Your Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including roll-forming, CNC, cutting, bending, and fabrication machinery, in accordance with approved work instructions and production requirements.
- Set up machines and perform basic operational adjustments following appropriate training and established procedures.
- Conduct routine machine inspections and operational checks to identify potential issues and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Monitor production processes and product quality, ensuring that output meets specified measurements, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Read and follow technical drawings, production specifications, work instructions, and measurement requirements.
- Use basic measuring and inspection tools to verify dimensions and product conformity.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and promptly identify, document, and report machine or product-related issues to the relevant supervisor or maintenance team.
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures, including the correct use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to support efficient production and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; technical or vocational qualifications in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial disciplines will also be considered.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment, particularly roll-forming, CNC, cutting, bending, or fabrication machinery.
- Practical experience in a manufacturing, steel fabrication, construction, metalworking, or similar industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge of machine operation, manufacturing processes, equipment troubleshooting, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, work instructions, measurements, and production specifications.
- Good understanding of measurements and proficiency in using basic measuring and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, product quality, and compliance with production standards.
- Ability to identify and report machine or product-related issues and perform basic operational checks and adjustments following appropriate training.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts and/or overtime when required.
