About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce (Magento) Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves working on the full software development cycle, from planning to deployment, with a focus on developing and debugging Magento 2 applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Debug Magento 2 - Adobe Commerce E-Commerce Applications B2B/B2C. - 30%
• Building API Enabled Custom Modules and Extensions.
• Creating and Managing 3rd Party integrations with Magento - Adobe Commerce Application like PIM, ERP, Payment gateways etc. - 30%
• Participating in scope defining sessions with other Platforms Technical teams for Magento integrations.
• Participate in engineering team as a Subject Matter expert for Back-end related Tasks, Verifying User Stories, Creating Tasks and helping other team member to achieve the Sprint Goals. - 20%
• Monitoring and Maintaining health of Magento - Adobe Commerce Applications, Contributing in performance improvements. - 10%
• Assisting Q.A in Deployments, UATs and Go Live activities. - 10%

Qualifications

• Experienced in the full software development cycle, from planning to deployment
• 4-8 Years of experience
• Hands-on Magento 2 experience
• Experienced in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP7)
• Experienced in OOP, knowledge of design patterns
• Experience in Web Server stack is highly beneficial: Apache, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis, Ubuntu Server
• Flexibility to adjust to new processes
• Capable of estimating/forecasting time to complete specified project tasks

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Magento 2 development
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL
• Experience with API development and integration

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment
• Experience with performance optimization techniques
