We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant Manager to join our team in Dubai. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations across multiple locations and concepts, ensuring all venues operate efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in as an assistant maintenance management or similar role, preferably within hospitality or F&B.
- Demonstrated ability to support and manage multi-site maintenance operations in a high-volume setting.
- In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in facilities, electrical, or mechanical systems are preferred.
- Fire safety and health & safety certifications are advantageous.
- Hands-on approach with a strong troubleshooting skills & problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities across a portfolio of F&B venues.
- Support the supervision and coordination of maintenance technicians and external contractors.
- Help implement and monitor preventive and reactive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct routine site inspections and report maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, work orders, repairs, and inventory.
- Assist with budget tracking and cost control for maintenance-related expenses.
- Support emergency maintenance responses to minimize operational disruptions.
- Act as a point of contact in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
