Purpose:
Provide general hands-on assistance to oilfield operations to support ESP start up, Monitoring, basic troubleshooting and reporting activities, whilst adhering to APC and client's contractual and QHSE standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, VSD and control panels.
- Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Support the installation of electrical components such as motors, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Use hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters).
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces and tools.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures during all tasks.
- Document work performed and report issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments on projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Technology is required.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in Maintenance field.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
