As a Maintenance Planner, you will establish, maintain, and continuously improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our operations and equipment. You will work closely with maintenance teams to optimize workflows, manage resources, and drive defect-free maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain, and improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
- Scope the full extent of maintenance work, including repair, preventive, predictive, and design-out activities.
- Develop cost and time estimates for planned maintenance work.
- Order necessary parts, equipment, services, and documentation to complete maintenance tasks.
- Write maintenance procedures that ensure high-quality, defect-free work.
- Maintain accurate equipment maintenance histories and job records.
- Keep technical information on processes, stations, and equipment up to date.
- Translate asset management and maintenance strategies into workplace activities.
- Lead root cause failure analysis and investigations.
- Apply good stores and parts management practices to ensure reliability.
- Schedule maintenance work into productive plans.
- Capture and report key performance indicators for equipment reliability, department performance, and planning effectiveness.
- Continuously improve planning, scheduling, data management, and job reporting systems.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervision to schedule manpower and resources for optimal maintenance and production outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science.
