Maintenance Planning Engineer

Alamal Alsharif Plastics is a leading company in the local market specializing in the manufacturing of plastic pipes and fittings, including PP-H, PP-R, CPVC, and PVC. The company is one of the pioneers in the Middle East, exporting nearly 30% of its total production to 12 Arab and African countries. Its products serve vital infrastructure projects such as drinking water networks, sanitation systems, electricity and telephone conduits, as well as agricultural development projects. The company continuously aims to increase its annual productivity to meet local and export demands while supporting job creation and reducing unemployment in Egypt. Its production facilities include 40 pipe production lines, 51 machinery units for fittings, and advanced laboratory equipment for quality testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and periodic maintenance plans.
• Schedule maintenance activities in coordination with production to minimize downtime.
• Monitor maintenance execution and analyze completion rates and deviations.
• Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance records using ERP / CMMS systems.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of spare parts.
• Analyze recurring failures and propose continuous improvement actions.
• Track and report KPIs such as maintenance compliance, corrective vs. preventive ratio, OEE, and spare parts utilization.
• Support maintenance teams with planning tools and scheduling best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance planning & scheduling.
• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling certification is preferred
• Strong skills in MS Office and ERP / CMMS systems.
• Good analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Good command of the English language.
